About Product
A powder-coated steel sign cut with the family name and the year, in two sizes, black or bronze.
Cut, not printed
The letters are cut clean through the steel, so the wall behind becomes part of the design and there is no printed layer to chip. It is why this works outdoors as readily as in a hallway.
Powder-coated for weather
Powder coat is baked on, which is the finish used on garden furniture for the same reason: it survives frost, rain and the occasional knock without rusting at the edge.
Sagevow tip:
Hang it where a light crosses the surface rather than facing it head-on. Cut steel reads by shadow, and flat light flattens the letters.
Shipping Details
Peak periods — Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day — add 1–2 business days. Severe weather or a natural disaster can add up to a week; if that happens to your order we email you rather than let the date pass in silence.

Did you know?
Cut-metal house signs became common in the 1920s alongside street numbering — the first time most families had a reason to display a name outdoors at all.
